The Forgiveness Project
Thank you to Cambodian born SokReaksa Himm for sharing his incredible story of how he survived the horrific genocide of the Pol Pot regime. Thirteen members of his immediate family including his parents were brutally murdered by the Khmer Rouge and though severely wounded himself, he survived hidden under the bodies of his family.
SokReaska shared his story of how he escaped capture and how years later he travelled back to his village to meet and forgive his family’s killers.
Reaksa clearly demonstrates just how love can triumph over hatred and how forgiveness can set you free.
Thank you to SokReaksa for sharing his story.
